Powerful Tools for Effecting Change: Julie Bright
December 07, 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm, Constant Contact , Waltham, MA: REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Topic: Powerful Tools for Effecting Change: Personal and Social Identity
Identity is foundational to our psychology and can be leveraged to affect and nurture powerful, long-lasting change.
Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches wear many hats, but one of the most important is that of the Change Artist. Understanding what people need in order to move through a change curve is critical to success. However, the role of self-perception, both as individuals and within the context of a group, is often overlooked in the toolkit. In this workshop you will gain insights into human psychology which will allow you to gently and respectfully help people in your organization internalize change without fear.
Speaker: Julie Bright
Julie tried on many hats before settling into her current identity as an Agile Coach. In the past, she has worked in Purchasing, served as a childbirth doula, supported Government engineers designing military safety equipment, and even tried her hand at self-employment as a Personal Chef.
Julie joined Capital One in 2009, and was soon bitten by the Agile Bug. She is happiest when facilitating workshops, teaching Agile concepts through games, and co-creating professional environments where people can feel motivated, engaged, and empowered.
